AFH Media Manager, Thireshni Sanasy received the 3rd Year Top Student award for Journalism 2010 at the Durban University of Technology. The awards ceremony was held on 25th May at the Arthur Smith Hall on City Campus.
Sanasy who had been interning at Art for Humanity last year, graduated this year April with a diploma in Journalism. She has since been working at AFH as media manager, managing the blogs, website and newsletter.

AFH Media Manager, Thireshni Sanasy received the 3rd Year Top Student award for Journalism 2010 at the Durban University of Technology. The awards ceremony was held on 25th May at the Arthur Smith Hall on City Campus.

After receiving awards for Broadcast III, Feature and Review Writing III and Top student in Third Year, Sanasy said, "Art for Humanity has definitely impacted not only on my academic achievements but on my personal growth as a journalist. Having majored in Broadcast, working at AFH was out of my comfort zone but the knowledge and experience I have gained is limitless."
AFH has given Sanasy a full bursary for her BTech in Journalism, which she is currently doing this year. Sanasy said, "I will always be grateful to AFH for not only the bursary, but also for the motivation that it provides for the individuals who work here."
Art for Humanity congratulates our Media Manager for her outstanding achievements and are proud to have her as part of our team.
